Showtime approached us to promote their wildly popular show, "Inside the NFL." Our solution: an approachable pick-em game that pits fans against the hosts.

We wanted to create an immersive experience that put fans in the center of all the action: on the field.
We focused on creating an immersive design, putting the UI on the center of the field.
Our UI featured three interactive panels that a user could toggle between to see their picks, their performance and their leagues.
These early sketches explored different interaction patterns before we landed on our chosen UI.
We leverage several circles of competitiveness in the game: fan vs. self, fan vs. show hosts, fan vs. friends, fan vs. the broader fan network (i.e. Giants fans) to create an addictive season-long stream of engagement.

We introduced badges and performance reporting based on weekly and seasonal performance to keep fans engaged.
Email badge awards prompted users to make the next week’s picks in an effort to close the engagement loop.
